The first Bourbon King..Henri IV of France
Biography of Henry IV

In other pages I have shown that C5 Q39 is a reference to the Bourbon line with Marguerite of Navarre at its head . I showed that it contained the name d'Angouleme in its anagrams which is one of the titles of Marguerite. This work is presented in brief in the latter part of this page.
However the connection to Marguerite only began when Antoine of Bourbon married Marguerite's daughter Jeanne d'Albret.

There is another name in one of the other anagrams of C5 Q39 which also relates to the French royal Valois family. The name is
Lorraine and it occurs eleven times in Nostradamus' Prophecies, three are in the visible text with the other eight appearing only as anagrams.

The name of Lorraine is linked closely to that of Guise, the other family besides the Bourbon, that were in line to the throne should the Valois lineage of the 16th century die out. The Lorraine/ Guise royal claimants at that time were far more powerful and much more wealthy than the Bourbon side of the family. In addition the Bourbons were increasingly linking themselves to the Protestant views that were infiltrating France at that time while the Guise/Lorraine families remained strongly Catholic.

When Jeanne d'Albret gave birth to a son in 1553 the likelihood of his ever becoming king relied on a long sequence of events involving failures in birth, premature deaths and deaths whose timing would have changed history if they had occurred a few weeks later.
Henri III of Navarre had few real prospects of ever becoming King of France when he was born, yet he did so in 1589.

It was scarcely to be expected, however, that he would one day succeed to the throne of France, since Catherine de Médicis had already borne three sons to the reigning king, Henry II, and would soon bear him a fourth. However there is at least one of Nostradamus verse which seemed to tell of Henri's achievements long before they happened.
C5 Q41 (click left for full analysis)
Born in the shadows and during a dark day,
He will be sovereign in realm and goodness:
He will cause his blood to rise again in the ancient urn
Renewing the age of gold for the treasury.
Nay Souz les vmbres et journee nocturne
Sera en regne et bonte Souueraine.
Ferare naiStre Son Sang de l'antique vrne
Renouuellant Siecle d'or pour l'aerain

Henri was born far away from the Parisian courts at Pau, Bearn in the south of France on the night of December 14th.

Both his grandmother Marguerite and his mother, Jeane were renowned for their kindly and beneficial rulers of their territories and Henri showed much the same character once he became King Henry IV of France. Henri has the reputation of being the best King France ever had and under his leadership, his Superintendent of Finances, duc de Sully, transformed France's economy.

His father's family had lost its grion its claim to the throne and through Henri, the Bourbon line would once more rise to the forefront of the realm. It can therefore be argued that Nostradamus' lines in this verse successfully tell the story of Henri IV from birth to death.

Amongst many reasons for my belief that Nostradamus intended this verse to provide an important link in the story of the religious mutations of the future is Henri's involvement in the religious wars  of the 16th Century.

There are many anagrams in this verse that support the interpretation I give. Amongst the rare ones two stand out.

One is the name of a major financial backer to Henri's religious campaigns namely England. Anagrams of England only occur here and one other verse and in this instance it is part of a sequence of anagrams that complete the line and provide reason why England acted in this manner. Ferare naiStre Son Sang de l'antique vrne becomes Fera renaist reSonSa ngdelan tiqu evrne and this becomes  Reasons England never quit retains fear. Elisabeth I of England had connections to Henri II through her mother Anne Boleyn who knew well and was an ardent follower of Marguerite, Henri's grandmother.

England had every reason to hope and foster the possibility that Henri's Calvinistic faith would occupy the kingshirole as this suited a Protestant England. Elisabeth was a beneficiary when Henri of the Bourbon line caused his bood to rise in the ancient urn and ithis provided the reason behind the support. There is also in this line another very rare anagram for equivalent and equivalence of Henri's and Elisabeth's protestant views was an important factor behind the assistance provided by England.

In the second line describing how well the new king does there is an anagram for bounteous and it only occurs in this line in the Prophecies. It is adjacent to letters that create the description of that time a bounteous era (bonte Souuera= bonteSouu era). Once again a complex word of rare occurrence provides a totally unexpected fit with the words that are visible.

There are three verses where the emblem associated with the Bourbon, the Fleur de Lys, can be found. One of these is linked to the origins of the Bourbon line through Marguerite d'Angouleme and there is one whose wording also points strongly to the first of the Bourbon Kings, Henry IV.

C5 Q41
The old roads will all be improved,
One will proceed on them to the modern Memphis:
The great Mercury of Hercules fleur-de-lis
Causing to tremble lands, sea and country.
Les vieux chemins Seront tous embelys
Lon paSSera a Memphis Somentree
Le grand Mercure d'Hercules fleur de lys
FaiSant trembler terre mer et contree
The following are some historical perspectives given on Henri IV in recent years;

With the aid of Sully, who served as superintendent of finances, the king [Henri IV] put the crown's fiscal house back in order through prudent expenditures, an overhaul of municipal finance, and the consolidation of the state's debt. By 1608, Sully estimated that the royal treasury had accumulated reserves totaling 32.5 million livres.(Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/henry-iv-of-france#ixzz1le6HPqzX)

Henri IV took measures to build uagriculture and farming, as well as industry. After 1598 communications and transport were greatly improved by the building of bridges, roads, canals and lighthouses. http://www.answers.com/topic/henry-iv-of-france#ixzz1le6HPqzX

Henry IV was known as the Gallic Hercules and endures to this day as one of France's most popular rulers.(Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/henry-iv-of-france#ixzz1le5cKDtB)

In essence it was Henri that modernized the run-down city of Paris and its supply routes thereby removing the impediments to trade and prosperity. Paris was not on the great Roman routes and the old roads that had been the backbone of transport for over 1500 years had to be rebuilt in order that Paris could become the modern hub of the 17th century.

It is clear that Nostradamus was interested in the future of the Bourbon kings but at the time of his writing and publishing his work such events lay in the future. The existence of the verses above together with others, all of which contain hidden patterns of foreknowledge, provides a strong base for believing Nostradamus did have the abilities he claimed. If so the search of many to discredit him reflects on their closed mindedness.

If, as I believe, the evidence does stand uthen it is surely far more fruitful to investigate the means by which such a thing is possible than to either declaim it without consideration or read into it things that are inconsistent with Nostradamus' method and intent.

Incantation of the Law and Psalm 119 (118)

My work on anagrams in Nostradamus’ Prophecies gives me many reasons to believe that psalms were involved in his code. The aim of my current series is to show how the verses relating to code hold anagrammatic phrases that form threads rather than complete passages. This is easily illustrated by reference to the six verses where anagrams of psalm occur. Below I show the location of the relevant ones together with a small sample of the anagrammatic threads they contain.

  •  C1. Q63 L.2 has longest.psalm
  •  C9 Q6 L.3 holds psalm.is.code dual doubler
  •  C3 Q89 L.1 contains safer.psalm
  •  C10 Q42.4 reveals longet.psalm frame.triennial. rule.IX

Much of what I find comes from such threads because until the correct reference place in history is found the important words in any verse often remain hidden to me. In the absence of certainty I am reliant on the consistency of these clues to lead me to the place where the enigmas can be resolved. It is for this reason that I only became rock-solid certain on June 6th 2010 as to how the above threads helped resolve the enigma of Centuries 6 Quatrain 100.

  • C6 Q100
LEGIS CANTI O CONTRA IN EPTOS CRITICOS.
INCANTATION OF THE LAW AGAINST INEPT CRITICS

The Incantation of the Law mentioned in the verses header is a plain statement of the source of the incantation; it is a reference to the header for Psalm 119 which is called The Glories of God’s Law. In addition this psalm often rails against the authors critics.

I am never happy to draw conclusions unless they have support from within the verse or from those other verses with proven links. However my case in this instance is very strong since Psalm 119 (found as Psalm 118 in some versions of the Bible) is the longest in the Bible and it fits many of the other clues I have outlined in the previous sections.

But more than this there is the unique nature of the psalm’s structure that ties it conclusively to C6 Q100. This link is based on an anagram in the header. This anagram occurs only in this verse and when rearranged it yields the word Notaricon (o contr ain).

The word Notaricon (or Notarikon) relates to Hebraic ancient coding practices and it involves the use of letters in the end positions of lines to form messages via anagrams. When the first letter of a sequence of lines or verses is used it is called an acrostic.
Psalm 119 is the only place in the Bible where the Hebrew alphabet is used in sequence and this is done as an eight-fold acrostic. There are twenty-two sets of eight short verses arranged so that each set of eight starts with the same letter of the alphabet and the twenty-two sets are presented in correct alphabetic order.

This is a high order code and that fact alone would make it interesting and to find such clear links as I have now revealed provides compelling evidence that this is the meaning intended by Nostradamus. It is worth adding that the sequence containing notaricon states NOTARICON.POETS.ICROSTIC (OCONTRAIN.EPTOS CRITICOS) and that there is an anagram for contraction in the same line. The formation of the word Notaricon is founded in the way it contracts the lettering of a passage into a sequence with hidden meaning. The only anagram for contraction (cantio contr) to be found in Nostradamus’ Prophecies is in the header of this keystone verse.

On every level, visible or hidden, this new interpretation satisfies the description given in Nostradamus’ text for this verse. Notably, the same conclusion could now be drawn as to the relevance of Psalm 119 without reference to my English anagrams but it is significant that I could never have found these answers without their use.

It is important to keein mind that this information doesn’t tell us exactly how to use the code but it is a huge breakthrough in that it narrows the field to something much more testable than there was before
June 6th  2010.
