Nostradamus C1 Q06: The
impact of Nostradamus Italian travels on his ability to access future visions.
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015
Several of Nostradamus' early quatrains deal with the
16th century distillation and preparation of chemicals.
In this verse he indicates that
it
displeases him when
pasquinades
(satirical leaflets)
deriding him and his methods are chanted by the
courtesans of France.
However his primary interest is the
constituents of
folious plants and the variant genes or
alleles
found in different
breeds. Part of his annoyance
is that the plants he seeks are often stripped of their leaves by more
ignorant users.
This perception by Nostradamus most likely reflects
the influence of his Italian travels when he has developing the master
copy of his prophcies. That influence realted to his means of inducing
visions of the future.
