Nostradamus C1 Q15: Desperate needs of the poor drives a wedge between clergy and patrons.
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015
This verse undoubtedly refers to a time of war but the anagrams give a
twist to the tale that explains the unusual tone of the text. The war
brings hunger and an inability to grow crops to which the clergy respond
by providing for the
needy while the nobles respond by injecting a foul substance
based on soy beans into the poor. However they also
deny the
ecclesiasts a
true wage for doing their part and
this causes many
ecclesials
to
quit.
