Nostradamus C1 Q16: The giant axle of the Polestar times the onset of great mutations
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015, 2022

This verse goes close to giving a summary of Nostradamus' Prophecies. Its text references an astronomic setting and its themes are consistent with those I set out in Astronomy, Mutations and Nostradamus on War on my web site at nostradamuscodes.com

Nostradamus Flood Quotes in 1555 PrefaceList of Nostradamus Flood verses tied to PrefaceThe end of a century timing mentioned in the text of Centuries 1 Quatrain 16 ties it firmly to the quote in the 1555 Preface that provides the Cornerstone guidance about his major themes. It does so because the anagrams tie that period to the turning of the Pole Star on its celestial axle.

The relevant sections of the Preface commentary are shown alongside. These quotes and the verses linked to them a(shown alongside) re prominent in the trail I compiled for reconstructing Nostradamus' work.  Because of C1 Q16s prominent role it also appears in other important clusters that relate to that same epoch.

The Axis shift verse series in Nostradamus' PropheciesThe connections between verses and quote together with modern topics uniting the anagrams in these verses enables the trail for floods and axle shift  to be followed through a set of verses in a way that removes the obscurities faced by earlier analysts.  The main verses involved are listed in pairs in the tables alongside. I list them in pairs because there is a natural fit of ideas using that style but they also form a cohesive whole with cross-threads between the text and anagrams of all verses in the group of ten.

Nostradamus Verse C1 Q16 onAxle Verticalness failureThis verse C1 Q16 pairs with C2 Q93 because the text and anagrams of both verses pair with the date mechanisms of the floods (as set out in the earlier parts of the the trail). That date involves the turning of the current Pole star (Ursa Minor) in 2105CE. The accompanying devastation event is implied in each of the sources via terms such as "before the final conflagration (in Preface)", "Eschaton (C2 Q93 L3 anagram)" and "century approaches its renewal (C1 Q16 l4 text)"

The anagrams are  powerful and give supporting detail to the themes mentioned in their text. Those for axle signation and verticalness deliver an image of a cross-piece that turns until it reaches a vertical position which is consistent with the Polestar reaching its closest approach to the North Pole in 2105CE.

It is from this dating and the anagrams for Noah's deluge in the second line that I was able to propose a date for the giant floods that Nostradamus prophesied. Other anagrams such as minimal  militiamen and limit imply there will be peace before the warnings in the text take place.
