Nostradamus C1 Q89: Biological warfare between oil and atomic energy reliant states
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015, 2022

The names of ancient defenders of national values in emerging states dominate the anagrams of this verse and it is this that gives sense to the text which then becomes Nostradamus background briefing on future wars between Spain, France and Germany

Nostradamus Flood Quotes in 1555 PrefaceList of Nostradamus Flood verses tied to PrefaceThe text of Centuries 1 Quatrain 89 line 3 saying "A seaside track comes near the high valley" ties it to the flood quotes in the 1555 Preface that provide guidance for his major themes. The change implied in the closeness of the sea and valley track requires a sudden change in  sea levels which is at the heart of the Preface quotes. The relevant sections of the Preface commentary are shown alongside. These quotes and the verses linked to them are the basis underpinning the trail I compiled for reconstructing Nostradamus' work.

The connections between verses and quotes together with modern topics uniting the anagrams in these verses enables the trail for floods to be followed through a set of verses in a way that removes the obscurities faced by earlier analysts.  The main verses involved in this flood group are listed in pairs in the table alongside. I list them in pairs because there is a natural fit of ideas using that style but they also form a cohesive whole with cross-threads between the text and anagrams of all verses in the group of ten.

Nostradamus verse C1 Q89- Floods Seaside Track High ValleyThis verse pairs with C1 Q52 because of both possessing medical-environmental anagrams of a similar type. In C1 Q89  it is anagrams for for pathogens, racemulose and phages that are the highly relevant and rare pointers.

The current verse also carries a very pertinent anagram for Ursa-Minor. This ties it to to the earlier steps of the trail that imply the period is around the end of the 21st century when the current Pole star (Ursa Minoris)  reaches its closest point to the Northern pole.
