Nostradamus C3 Q65: Experimental 'Christ clone' born in mutant form.

Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015

This verse is about the experimental cloning of a 'Christ gene' that results in a mutated being with great powers. The process involves radiation of ancient DNA and it is this that informs  the unusual wording in the fourth line Poisoned, his blood in the sacred chalice.

The idea of the clone being mutated is carried via a powerful allusion. The verse carries an anagram for minotaur which was an ancient creature with the body of a man joined to the upper part of a bull. This legendary creature had fearsome powers that led to its being confined and eventually destroyed by man.

Anagrams from which the current verse gains meaning include:

Raimond wrote unequaled pulse cruel guard random network Minotaur waken
Quand le ſepulcre du grand Romain trouue

Quand le ſepulcre du grand Romain trouue
Le jour apres ſera eſleu Pontife
Du Senat gueres il ne ſera prouue
Empoiſonne ſon ſang au ſacre ſcyphe

There are two verses in the story of the new man that carry the anagram for minotaur but they have a common religious tone as can be ascertained by comparing their visible words below.

C3 Q65.
When the sepulcher of the great Roman is found,
The day after a Pontiff will be elected:
Scarcely will he be approved by the Senate
Poisoned, his blood in the sacred chalice.

So that they will say his strength overwhelms his living twin
