Nostradamus C4 Q18: People are culled on the basis of their links to superior beings.

Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015, Jan 2023

Quote from Preface PEE4 on origin versus causesModernCauses and OriginsWithin this verse Nostradamus set down a specific part of the purge of people whose gene lines are considered dangerous by its rulers. The anagrams show that this particular event relates to Girona and Castile  in the north of Spain.

The anagrams make it apparent that it it is about fate via the immortals and Moiras (Greek fates) and it deals with mortalism and the powers of moralists.

Now the extent to which continuity applies between this verse, C2 Q13 and the Epistle quote on Causes & Origins can be gauged by the two verses having reference to immortals via anagrams. There are only four verses where that anagram is found. In these two verses it arises from variant text dealing with beings put to death 'mis a mort l' and 'la  mort mis'. But the tie to the quote comes from the current verses allusion to those most lettered in the celestial facts which is prominent in similar form at the end of the quote where it says the causes are made known alongside the celestial movement'.

These factors also make this verse one of the headers in the first one hundred verses  of the master copy.(about Nostradamus' aims and methods). And the anagrams for Girona and fascist sects imply that the verse in C1 Q06 of the published version came from C4 Q18 of the master copy (where turmoils in Frances neighbouring countries were originally recorded).

Nostradamus Prophecies Centuries 4 Quatrain 18 Immortals Transpose Celestial Letters regionsIn addition the text of C4 Q18 is clearly about the difficulties that people who are aware of how the universe operates will encounter from less informed world leaders. This is especially relevant to the evolutionary based abilty of humans to use letters, words and thoughts which is at the heart of Nostradamus' mechanisms.

Hence one origin that motivated Nostradamus to construct these linked elements is the power of words; the evolutionary power we justly believe is currently unique to mankind. And by his references to immortals and divine spirits he addresses the nature of our evolutionary path.

This pair of verses give only a small part of the meaning of the quote but there is much more that comes from my recent focus on linked word usage in Nostradamus' works.

# Aeolus: ruler of the winds in Greek mythology.
# Moiras: three Greek Goddesses of destiny equivalent to the Roman Parcae, English Fates and Nordic Norns.
# Girona and Castile: Important locations at each end of the northern border of Spain.
