Nostradamus C8 Q76: The cannibal king that bleeds the English during a gentler revolution.
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015
One anagram above all others sets the tone of this verse since the first
line says
More of a butcher than a king and an anagram in the third line delivers
Laestrygonians.
This name is that of an ancient race of giant cannibals in Homer's Odyssey.
There is
also an anagram for
Sassenach
which
is a term used by the Gaelic inhabitants of the British Isles to refer to
the English inhabitants.
So we have ,as a starting point, a story about
a tall king
who is there to harvest the flesh of the English.
