This verse has a dual purpose the first of which sees the text present elements of the battles for Southern France as rising sea levels expose the cities to raiders from the Eastern Mediterranean. The second pupose
is the placing of
isolated threads in the anagrams that relate to how the lettering code is to be used to create an astronomic calendar.
